How do I capture an oasis?
A held oasis can be defended: send reinforcements to it (you, your alliance and pact partners can). Those troops fight next to the animals, eat at home and come back with Withdraw on the Rally Point. Raiding a held oasis takes resources from the village that holds it (the cranny protects them). Beginner protection covers your oases too, and attacking someone's oasis ends your own protection.
- Build the Hero's Mansion to level 10. Level 15 and 20 let the village hold a 2nd and 3rd oasis.
- Pick an oasis within 3 fields of the village in both directions (a 7 x 7 square around it).
- Scout it and test your army in the Combat simulator (choose "oasis").
- Send a Normal attack (not a raid) from that village, with your hero.
- Your attack must win and kill every animal, and your hero must survive.
- The oasis is now yours. Its bonus is added to that village's production.
If animals are left, attack again. Any normal attack with the hero that ends with 0 animals captures it.
Oasis held by another player: each won normal attack with your hero lowers its loyalty (it starts at 100). At 0 the oasis is yours.
| Oases held by the owner's village | 1 | 2 | 3 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Loyalty lost per hero attack | 33 | 50 | 100 |
| Hero attacks needed (if none regrows) | 4 | 2 | 1 |
Loyalty regrows by 2 per hour per level of the owner's Hero's Mansion (Mansion 10: 20 per hour, Mansion 20: 40 per hour). Send your hero attacks close together - on this fast world they arrive within minutes, so a few attacks in a row take the oasis.
- Choose oases with few animals, or clear them first with raids and a strong attack.
- Best bonus: a crop oasis next to a cropper village.
- When a village is conquered or destroyed, its oases become free again.
