Rams and walls

Rams lower the enemy wall in normal attacks. They strike before the fight, so the battle is fought against the weaker wall, and they damage the wall even if you lose.

Rams work only in normal attacks, not in raids.

How much they destroy depends on: number of rams, their Blacksmith level, and how strong your attack is compared with the defence.

Walls are not equally hard: Earth Wall (Teutons) is 5 times and Palisade (Gauls) 2 times as hard to ram as the City Wall (Romans).

A Stonemason's Lodge in the capital and the Architects' secret artifact make walls sturdier.

The Combat simulator shows the wall level after your rams.
