How do I use the combat simulator?

The simulator fights a battle with the real battle code without changing anything. Enter both armies and see the winner, losses, wall and building damage, and how much stronger you need to be.
  1. Open Combat simulator. It starts with your own troops.
  2. Choose normal attack or raid, and village or oasis.
  3. Enter the attacker: tribe, troops, Blacksmith levels, hero (unit, points, bonus), population and attack bonus %.
  4. Enter the defender: tribe, troops, Armoury levels, hero, wall, Residence/Palace, Stonemason, population, defence bonus % and free traps (Gauls). Add up to two reinforcement armies.
  5. For catapults, enter the target building's level.
  6. Results update as you type.

Results: winner, attack vs defence, casualties and survivors, hero death, wall after rams, building after catapults, how much the survivors can carry, and how much stronger (or weaker) the attack could be.

"Simulate" links on map villages, oases and scout reports fill it with what you know.

Random catapult targets are not simulated. World speed does not change battles.
