How much can I store? What happens when storage is full?

All levels: cost, build time and what each level gives »

The Warehouse stores wood, clay and iron (each); the Granary stores crop. When storage is full, production stops and anything delivered above the limit is lost.

The Warehouse number counts for each of wood, clay and iron. The Granary number is for crop.

When a Warehouse or Granary is at level 20, you can build a second one. Their capacities add up.

When storage is full, that resource stops growing. Loot, deliveries and Gold market goods above the limit are lost.

A building level that costs more than your storage can hold cannot be built. The page then says "Upgrade your Warehouse first" or "Upgrade your Granary first".

What works best
  • On x100, storage fills in minutes. Keep Warehouse and Granary a little ahead of your fields.
  • Make room before big deliveries or Gold market purchases arrive.
  • Full storage also means more loot for raiders. Spend it.
