- Catapults: destroying buildings and choosing targets Attacking & raidingCatapults hit buildings after a won normal attack. What you can aim at depends on your Rally Point level; below level 3 they hit at random.
- Rally Point BuildingsYou need a Rally Point to send troops. Each level allows 5 outgoing troop movements at once, and higher levels let catapults aim at more buildings.

- How much crop do my troops eat? Troops & trainingEach unit eats its upkeep in crop every hour: 1 for most infantry, 2-4 for cavalry, 3 for rams, 6 for catapults, 4-5 for chiefs. This is not sped up on this world.
- How much loot can my troops carry? Troops & trainingEach unit carries a fixed amount of resources (for example Clubswinger 60, Equites Imperatoris 100). Only survivors carry; scouts, rams, catapults and chiefs carry nothing.
- Can a village be destroyed? New villagesYes: if catapults bring a village's population to 0, it is razed. A capital, a player's last village, an artifact village and a World Wonder village cannot be destroyed.
- What happens when my crop runs out? Resources & fieldsWhen the granary is empty and net crop is negative, troops in the village die until consumption fits production. Reinforcements die first, then your own troops, the most crop-hungry first.
- Residence and Palace BuildingsBoth train settlers and chiefs and give expansion slots. You can have only one Palace, and the village with it becomes your capital. A village has either a Residence or a Palace, never both.
- Treasury BuildingsThe Treasury holds an artifact. You need level 10 for a small artifact and level 20 for a large or unique one, and one Treasury holds only one artifact.
- Brewery (Teutons) BuildingsTeutons only, in the capital: +1% attack per level for all your troops. While you have one, your chiefs lower loyalty only half as much.
- How do I unlock new troops? (Academy research) Troops & trainingResearch a unit once in the Academy of a village; then that village can train it. Your first unit and settlers need no research.
- Blacksmith and Armoury upgrades (Master Trainer) Troops & trainingThe Blacksmith raises a unit's attack and the Armoury its defence, up to level 20. A unit's level cannot be higher than the building's level.
- How fast do troops travel? Troops & trainingA group moves at the speed of its slowest unit. Travel time = distance / speed in hours, divided by the world's troop speed (x100 here).
- How is a battle calculated? Attacking & raidingTotal attack is compared with total defence. The stronger side wins; the weaker side's strength decides how many the winner loses.
- What is morale? Why was my attack weaker? Attacking & raidingWhen a bigger player (more population) attacks a smaller one, the attack is weakened by up to one third. Morale does not help the attacker.
- How do I use the combat simulator? Attacking & raidingThe simulator fights a battle with the real battle code without changing anything. Enter both armies and see the winner, losses, wall and building damage, and how much stronger you need to be.
- Walls: City Wall, Earth Wall, Palisade Defence & protectionThe wall multiplies the defence of all troops in the village. Romans get +3% per level, Gauls +2.5%, Teutons +2%, and it grows on top of itself.
- How do I get a hero? HeroBuild a Hero's Mansion, then choose one researched infantry or cavalry soldier at home: it becomes your hero. It costs twice the unit's price and 1.6 times its training time.
- How do I conquer a village with chiefs? New villagesWin normal attacks with chiefs to lower the village's loyalty to 0. You need culture points and a free slot, and the village must have no Residence or Palace.
- Capital: what is special and how do I move it? New villagesYour first village is your capital. Only the capital can raise fields above level 10, it cannot be conquered or destroyed, and some buildings exist only there. Building a Palace in another village moves the capital.
- Who are the Natars? EndgameThe Natars are a computer tribe that guards artifacts and World Wonder villages with very large armies. They also raid players with 300 or more population, at most once a day.
- Natar attacks on players EndgameNatars attack players with 300 or more population, at most once a day. Their army is sized to your strength, so small players get small raids and strong players get big attacks.
- What do the artifacts do? EndgameArtifacts give strong bonuses. Small ones work in the village that holds them; large and unique ones work in all villages of the owner.
- How do I capture an artifact? EndgameDestroy the Treasury of the village that holds it, then win a normal attack with your hero alive. Your attacking village needs an empty Treasury of level 10 (small) or 20 (large/unique).
- How do we win with a World Wonder? EndgameConquer a Natar World Wonder village, hold a construction plan in your alliance, and build the Wonder to level 100. The first alliance to do it wins the world.
- How are attack and defence points counted? Statistics & medalsYou get attack points for enemy units (and animals) you kill when attacking, and defence points for attackers killed at your village; each unit counts its upkeep.
